Luke Jones

Luke Jones presents iPM and Saturday PM on BBC Radio 4.

He appears on The World at One, PM and Broadcasting House conducting interviews and reports from around the UK and abroad. He also regularly presents on the BBC World Service and contributes to BBC Radio 4Extra's Podcast Radio Hour.

iPM tackles difficult issues raised by Radio 4 listeners. Luke regularly conducts in-depth interviews on subjects such as losing a university age child to suicide, finding out you're adopted, confronting an employer about sexual assault, looking for love online, investigating the fire safety of your own high rise tower block and managing a school in a Greek migrant camp. On PM and The World at One Luke has reported on a variety of stories including Brexit, the migration crisis, the film industry, the Grenfell tower disaster, fostering refugees and the Harvey Weinstein trial (including an exclusive interview with his lawyer).

Luke's career at the BBC started on the Journalism Trainee Scheme where he worked at Panorama and reported for BBC Radio 1's Newsbeat.

After working as a producer on the World at One and PM on Radio 4, Luke began co-presenting iPM with Eddie Mair. He is now one of the regular presenters on Saturday PM. At 24 Luke is the youngest person to present a Radio 4 News sequence programme. In 2017 he was nominated Best New Presenter at the Radio Academy ARIA awards.
