Rianna Croxford is a multi-award-winning investigations correspondent for BBC News. She specialises in uncovering abuses of power and has broken stories across a wide-range of subject areas including politics, entertainment, technology, education and social affairs.

She also presents and produces investigative podcasts and documentaries. Her recent hit series “World of Secrets: The Abercrombie Guys,” and BBC Panorama documentary, “The Abercrombie Guys: The Dark Side of Cool," led to the arrests of Mike Jeffries, the former CEO of fashion giant Abercrombie & Fitch, his British partner and their middleman, who have been charged with running an international sex trafficking business.

Rianna is a two-time British Journalism Award winner, Forbes 30 under 30 media honouree, and a Royal Television Society Award and Orwell Prize finalist. In 2025, she was awarded Rising Star of the Year at the Women in Journalism Awards hosted at the US Embassy for her “ground-breaking reporting” into Abercrombie & Fitch.

She previously worked as the BBC’s community affairs correspondent, leading coverage of the UK's diverse population, and as a correspondent in Washington DC reporting on breaking news across America.

Alongside her work, Rianna is an ambassador for the Journalists’ Charity, which provides advice, crisis support and financial assistance to those in the industry, as well as the Journalism Diversity Fund, which awards training bursaries to people from diverse and lower socio-economic backgrounds.
